Today the 6th & 7th Graders

• Examined the pictorial timeline of the Civil war.
• Chose a Civil War battle that interested them for a short research project/presentation
• Brainstormed as to the kinds of information one would need in order to understand a battle (any battle); results here.
• Began gathering information about their battle; The Civil War Trust has excellent materials on lots of battles
• Got back their graded Quiz: Ch. 16: The Civil War & did correctives

Assignments for Wednesday

1. Continue gathering information on your Civil War battle
2. Read Ch. 6 in Undying Glory
3. Use information and maps at The Civil War Trust Site on the Battle of Fort Wagner
