- Did an excellent job of Telling a Poe Story
- Were briefly introduced to the Gilded Age (1865-1900 and began an exercise called My Examples of "Gilded"
- Were given a heads-up on the current week, which will revolve around standardized testing, during which there will be no or abbreviated regular class sessions. On Friday students will be taking a field trip to Peaceable Kingdom
Assignment for Monday, 4/11/16 -
- Finish My Examples of "Gilded."
- Read the Brief Summary of the Gilded Age - 1865-1900. Notice things that look good on the surface but underneath are not so good.
- The Quiz will be Thursday, 4/14/16.
- I am going to add another paragraph and some pictures, but this part of the Brief Summary should get you started in understanding the Gilded Age.
