Today our Grades 6 & 7's:
  • Continued working on their Pictorial History of a SMERFCAPS - The due date was changed to Friday, 9/4/15.
  • Analyzed the excerpt from Wordsworth's poem, "Ode: Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood" that prefaced The Light in the Forest, the historical novel we will be reading the next two weeks. Here are notes taken during the discussion of the poem.
  • Examined and began color coding a Vocabulary Diagnosis of words from TLITF. Each student emailed me her/his color coding so I could get an idea of how difficult they found these words.
