Today our 6ths/7ths:
- Deepened their understanding of chronology by playing the "Timeline American History Game"
- Further worked on chronology by doing the exercise, 8-Picture Chronology Game. This exercise served partly as a review of what students studied in Grade 5, a preview of what we will study this year and in the future, and an exercise in logical reasoning.
- They were given the option of working solo or with a partner.
- This will be due Thursday.
- Collaborated on the Vocabulary Definitions for The Light in the Forest, Ch. 3 & 4
Assignments
For Wednesday
- Finish your Vocabulary Definitions
- Predict what either Ch. 3 or Ch. 4 might be about, based on the words and their definitions.--Post this at your blog. --EXTRA CREDIT
- Read Ch. 3 & 4 in The Light in the Forest.
- Write 3 discussion questions for each chapter and post them at your blog. (As noted in class, 3 questions per chapter x 2 questions per chapter = 6 questions total.)
