• Discussed Ch. 12-14 of The Pirate Lafitte and the Battle of New Orleans - Click here to see notes and analysis done by the students.
• Looked at Google Maps of the Chalmette Battlefield where the climactic battle of the Battle of New Orleans was fought.

• Looked at pictures and maps of the Chalmette Battlefield in a PPT I put together on the Battle of New Orleans
• Began viewing a 19:05-minute documentary on the Battle of New Orleans. The video includes brief statements by Robert V. Remini, eminent Andrew Jackson scholar and author of The Battle of New Orleans: Andrew Jackson and America's First Military Victory
