Today the 6th & 7th Graders:

• Did an excellent job completing the collaborative Chart-Antebellum Reform Movements
• Learned how to use the free Scrible app for highlighting, color coding, and annotating web pages

• Discussed Ch. 1 & 2 of Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass
• Were shown a possible way of using Douglass's Narrative to answer some of the questions students said they would like to ask a slave

For Thursday
1. Write provided in Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass to questions you and a classmate would like to ask a slave.

2. Read Ch. 3 & 4 in Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass.

• Come to class prepared to discuss it.
• If you find in Ch. 3 & 4 answers to some of your and your classmate's questions, you could write down or make note of those answers. You will have a little time for this in class on Thursday, and it will be due on Friday.

For Friday - Spelling & Vocabulary Quiz over Vocabulary for Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass -- 15 words of your personal choice (the other 10 optional for Extra Credit)
