Today the 6ths/7ths:
- Shared important events from Christmas Hols (especially those related to Santa's munificence)
- Briefly reviewed the history we've studied thus far, noting we've mostly been focusing on the Antebellum Period ("Antebellum" = "before the war," i.e., the period before the Civil War; the dates vary from book to book, but the Antebellum Period generally refers to the years 1815-1861
- Examined a list with brief descriptions of Pre-Civil War Reform Movements
- Ranked the 8 movements listed according to what each student considered to be their order of importance
- Gave reasons justifying their rankings
- See GooDocs here and here.
- Were linked to a Chapter 14 Summary: Age of Reform and given notice of a Quiz over this on Thursday
